Do your coaches come with a driver?
Yes, all our coaches come with a driver and this is is included in your quote. Any additional charges for driver expenses will be advised at the time of quote, e.g. overnight accommodation and meals for any work traveling out of town from the home depot. Please note we do not hire out the coach only.
Do children need car seats on the coach?
This is not a requirement however most of our coaches are fitted with seatbelts and you are welcome to bring along your own car seat for your child.
Can we have food and drinks onboard?
Yes, you can bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks onboard however we do ask that this is not hot food and that drinks have a lid, and ensuring that you place all rubbish into the bin provided. Any excessive soilage may incur a cleaning fee.
Can we consume alcohol onboard?
No, you cannot open alcohol on a private bus in NZ unless the bus operator has a special liquor license for that specific charter. It is illegal to consume alcohol on a commercial passenger vehicle, including private charter buses, unless a special license is obtained and displayed. The law is under Section 38 of the Summary Offences Act 1981.
You can however stow un-opened alcohol in the luggage compartment to transport to your destination.
